Darren Elias once again showed off his skills at the poker table as he defeated Eric Baldwin in Event #2, $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Heads Up Thriller. , beat the Poker Master and won $223,100.

Eric Baldwin missed out on the championship by one place.

Elias started the final showdown with a nearly 3 million chip lead and saw Baldwin take the lead, but his lead was short-lived. In a crucial hand, Elias held a pair of queens on the turn, winning over Baldwin’s post-flop pair of sixes and paving the way for a quick finish.

On the final hand of the tournament, Baldwin hit all his chips on the button with J-8 of the suit, and Elias didn’t hesitate to call with A-Q. A queen on the turn gave Elias the best hand and dropped Baldwin to second place for $155,200.
